The role

Team Leader, International Sales Nordics (HQ - Finland)

Job role and purpose:

3stepIT's International Business Organization (IBO) is a multicultural team responsible for managing all international customer relationships and deals across 3stepIT's global operations. The IBO operates in the largest markets and countries across Europe, ensuring consistent service and seamless collaboration for international clients. Working closely with local sales teams, the organization coordinates cross-border business activities, supports complex multinational agreements, and drives growth by aligning international strategies with country-specific goals. Its purpose is to strengthen 3stepIT's global presence and deliver unified, high-quality solutions to international customers.

The International Key Account Manager is an amazing opportunity for anyone who wants to work with large customers internationally. This position is focused on sales activities towards new and existing clients located in your assigned territory, helping our customers acquire and manage their IT assets in an efficient, secure and environmentally responsible way. This role requires occasional travel based on business needs.

Your mission will be:

  • to manage and develop Prospects portfolio and to acquire new International Accounts


  • to retain and develop your portfolio of International Accounts


  • to educate local sales about international capability and seek opportunities together with them and other stakeholders such partners, funders etc.


  • to lead & coordinate with countries involved for rolling out and managing locally


Main responsibilities & tasks:

You will be responsible for a dedicated customer portfolio of international clients and work closely with local sales teams during pre-sales, sales, and on-boarding projects to ensure harmonized services and processes across geographies. You will prospect and drive new international business opportunities as well as manage and develop specified existing international accounts. You will ensure profitability and ensure that customers receive the same outstanding 3stepIT lifecycle experience across all markets.

To achieve this target, you will use your strong account leadership skills to pilot the allocated Prospects. You will continuously ensure close support to the countries involved, acting as a main point of contact with your customers. You will work on a long-lasting relationship with your customers based on our group strategy, aiming at increasing the penetration rate in terms of both number of countries covered and level of services contracted. You will be owning the customer relationship at international level and have the necessary empowerment to lead the countries towards an efficient and consistent Account Management activity with special focus on services, pricing, and contractual conditions.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or better in a related field or equivalent experience in IT Sales, Business, or Financing


  • 5+ years' experience in a consultative sales role preferably within IT, financial services and/or consulting


  • Experience of working with international customers


  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English and Swedish


  • Good selling, positioning, and negotiation skills


  • Ability to utilize solutions-oriented, systematic approach to selling and mastery of sales best practices


  • Good teamwork and interpersonal skills, including ability to lead, motivate and collaborate with the team


  • Ability to carry responsibility and make decisions as the leader of multinational accounts


  • Track record of building effective relationships with customers, identifying, meeting and exceeding customer expectations, and by treating customers with dignity and respect


  • Have a genuine interest in developing professional relationships
