The role
For our Central Operations team, we are urgently looking for aSeniorOperations Leadwho can support 2 large Veterinary health practices across a region in North west Europe. There could be additionally scope throughout the region also whereby additional project support is required.
Ideally you will be based near Stockholm, Sweden to support the Operating Unit VP for this region.
This role will suit an experienced operator who may previously have worked as a large scale multi site operator in Operations, or had their own practice in either Veterinary health or health care environments.
As a proven operator, you will be used to working at pace, in turn key projects and used to a quick impact type of role in projects where the experience can lend itself to understanding and reading situations quickly, being able to find appropriate solutions and move forward with actions.
This will suit someone with an agile mindset, comfortable working at pace and able to galvanise a team, land planning and activity in line with immediate business needs but also be nimble to change direction quickly inline with an agile business, reacting to wider business changes .
You will interface with Practice Managers to lead, engage and support fixing and implementation, seeking effective solutions and to create and embed sustainable change. Therefore you will possess a strong and confident style to make great decisions and execute.
There are no direct reports in this role however you will partnership with an operational analyst who can side by side inform and support decision making. You will report into Area Operational Directors and have a dotted line into Area Operational Managers. You will work also closely with a number of senior stakeholders, across both local operations and into the newly formed Central Operations team.
This is a short term project that will augment an existing team who can free up time whilst projects and plans are being addressed in more detail so it is very on the ground, with a roll up the sleeves approach to daily operations. This could be extended dependent upon contribution to the business and created opportunities.

Your profile
- Proven multi site operational experience
- Fluent English is required alongside Swedish and another language would be advantageous for overall support in the region which could lead to other project support
- Able to operate within North West Europe, with a strong focus on Stockholm, Sweden
- Knowledge of the immediate market in Sweden will be key as well as an understanding of the European wider market
- Strong ability to drill down into data and quickly identify patterns and issues
- Highly agile, hands-on and comfortable working in an interim / fast-paced environment
- Experience in pet healthcare is a strong plus
- Alternatively, experience in dental, healthcare or multi-site environments is highly relevant
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Credible and confident communicator to interface and escalate at senior business levels, produce information and presentations
