The role:

As Instrument and Equipment Coordinatoryou will be at the center of how our labs run, aligning instrument capacity and capability to an expanding pipeline.

Accountabilitiesinclude, but not limited to:

Responsible for theinstrument andequipment life cycle in Product Development
  • Manage theinstrument andequipment footprint
  • Ensureefficient use of existinginstruments andequipment
  • Look for innovative opportunities to access technology
  • Coordinate the capital prioritization and budget preparation processes in Gothenburg in close collaboration Capital Demand Manager

Instrument and Equipment compliance
  • Responsible for equipment issues as part of established compliance team
  • Work with instrument,equipmentand compliance teams to ensure all guidelines are in place for instruments tooperatein a compliant manner
  • Act as business SME in instrument and equipment compliance issues, providing advice in GMP and GLS related issues.

Key contact for critical partners
  • Work with AstraZeneca scientists, internal and external partners to enable the instrument maintenance process
  • RepresentGlobal Product Development on improvement teams and activities with key partners
  • Workwith local counterparts in other functions to deliver high quality instrument support

Customer support
  • Communicatewith colleagues and functionsregardinginstrumentsand equipmente.g. instrument status, procedure updates
  • Standardise,simplifiesand digitises relevant processes and procedures to support lab scientists improve their productivity and compliance.

Cybersecurity
  • Support PT&D Cybersecurity initiatives related to instruments and equipment and associated IT systems
  • Ensure PT&D Gothenburg compliance with cybersecurity policies and procedures.

Essential Requirements
  • Have abroadunderstanding ofthe range of analytical, pharmaceutical and formulation equipmentemployedin Pharmaceutical Product Development
  • Educated toBSc level (or equivalent in experience)in combination withsolid experience within the industry
  • Have a thorough understanding of principles, applications and management of SHE andcGMPinPharmaceutical Product Development.
  • Evidence ofgood communicationskills and strong operational relationships with customers
  • Evidence of a continuous improvement mindsetdemonstratedthroughout your career
  • Desirable but not essential to have a high-level understanding of IT and OT lab system cybersecurity challenges and experience supporting resolution
