Infrastructure Consultant - Hosting Specialist

We are looking for a Infrastructure Consultant - Hosting Specialist for Assignment in the Gothenburg Area.

Assignment Description:
We are looking for an experienced infrastructure and hosting consultant for an assignment with one of our clients in the manufacturing industry. In this role, you will support and develop the infrastructure around the client's factories and their critical Operation Technology (OT) systems. You will be responsible for infrastructure maintenance and act as a Hosting and Network expert in various projects.
Example Responsibilities:

• Server operations including change management, vendor coordination, and patching
• Managing storage and backup solutions
• Handling service requests related to infrastructure and hosting services
• Supporting lifecycle management and internal hosting platform projects
• Designing and implementing new hosting solutions
• Working with VMware environments and experience with storage and backup tools (such as NetApp and Veeam)
• Providing support for production-related IT environments

Required

• Minimum 5 years of experience with storage, backup, and hosting operations
• Solid background in server and application management, preferably within an industrial or OT environment
• Experience in Microsoft environments
• Security-aware and familiar with critical infrastructure operations
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Assignment Length: Until 2025-12-31, with possible extension up to 12 months
• Start Date: As soon as possible
• Scope: Full-time (39 hours/week)
• Location: Gothenburg area, occasional travel to nearby sites
• On-site work: 100% on-site initially, then up to two days remote work per week
• Vacation: Must be able to take at least four weeks of vacation during June-August, coordinated with the client
