We are looking for six independent working chefs in the Amsterdam area.

• * Independent working Chef

• * Employment: Full-time position / 38 hours per week

• * Salary indication: €2444 -  €2959 gross per month excluding holiday pay and gratuity (Tips). Salary is subject to negotiation. 

• * Hospitality CAO compliant employment conditions

• * Performing preparatory work, such as washing, cutting, (pre)cooking, mixing, stirring, etc.;

• * Assessing the quality of products/ingredients to be used (freshness, shelf life, etc.), preparing resources;

• * Carrying out the preparations, monitoring/checking the quality, doneness, taste, colour, fluidity, etc. and making adjustments/additional dosages;

• * Preparing orders for transfer by carrying out à la minute cooking, portioning and garnishing;

• * Supervising the work of the assistant(s), giving directions and instructions;

• * Monitor compliance with regulations in the areas of safety, health and safety, HACCP and work and presentation methods (corporate identity)

• Ready to learn Indian cooking techniques and styles

• Ready to learn how to cook in the Indian tandoor

• Ready to learn how to make Indian curries

Wanted

• Required education - MBO level 3 work and thinking level
