Do you want to work with work environment in technically complex projects in industry, energy and infrastructure?

We are now looking for an experienced and structured Work Environment Coordinator / HSE specialist for assignments in construction, industry, the energy sector and in Life Science. The role involves both strategic and operational responsibility for the work environment, safety, quality and legal compliance in project and production environments.

About the role

As a Work Environment Coordinator/HSE specialist, you will work closely with project managers, developers and contractors to ensure a safe and secure work environment throughout the project lifecycle.

Duties include:

• Assignments as BAS-P and/or BAS-U
• Work environment support for project management and operations
• Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety legislation and regulations
• Carrying out risk assessments, impact assessments and machine risk analyses
• Planning and participation in safety rounds
• Incident reporting and follow-up (e.g. IA system)
• Development and follow-up of work environment plans
• Support for CE marking and work according to the Machinery Directive
• Work according to ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
• Implementation of work environment measurements
• Support in audits and compliance checks
• Training and safety briefings
• Coordination in projects with several contractors
• Improvement and development work within HSE

Basic qualifications

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant technical education, such as construction engineer or equivalent
• Education and experience in BAS-P and BAS-you
• Several years of experience working as an HSE, HSSEQ or occupational health and safety specialist
• Good knowledge of work environment legislation and associated regulations
• Experience in Life Science, Industrial, Energy, Water and Sewerage or Infrastructure projects
• Experience of strategic work environment management and compliance audits
• B driving licence
• Very good Swedish and good knowledge of English
• Completed ESA training (at least EBR ESA-E1).
• Good ability to communicate and collaborate at different levels within organizations.
• Good ability to carry out risk assessments and is analytical thinking.

In assignments as an HSE resource, you will have a key role in developing, implementing and monitoring our customers' work environment work in projects.
