Head of Strategy Execution & Commercial Excellence - Business Customers

As our new Head of Strategy Execution & Commercial Excellence in Business Customers (L4), you will play a key role in achieving our ambitious growth targets outlined in our Forward ’28 strategy and shaping the future bank for our +200,000 business customers across the Nordics.

You will lead a team of +30 highly skilled and enthusiastic colleagues across the Nordics, responsible for executing our Forward ’28 strategy and the commercial agenda within our Business Customers unit. Success for us is a team effort! Therefore, we work closely across teams and with stakeholders to align priorities, challenge, and support each other to make a significant impact on our customers and colleagues.

Take lead on futureproofing and growing our business

You will collaborate with our Nordic and local leaders to prioritise and align strategy execution, digital, and commercial initiatives to deliver on our targets and transformative agenda. You will be a trusted sparring partner to create impact and drive our business forward.

Together with your team, you will be responsible:
  • Driving execution of our Forward ’28, digital, and commercial agenda to grow and future-proof our business.
  • Steering and leading efforts in close collaboration with stakeholders to decide on annual and quarterly strategy execution, digital and commercial activities, ensuring effective execution and progress tracking.
  • Supporting senior management and P&L owners to conduct insight-driven prioritisation and decisions, ensuring the right sequencing of initiatives while balancing short- and long-term success.
Experienced leader able to create followership and bring high ambitions to life

We expect you to have a solid background and experience in strategic and commercial management and a proven ability to drive growth and customer engagement through innovative strategies and initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses a blend of business understanding and leadership skills complemented by a focus on achieving commercial outcomes and enhancing customer experiences.

Furthermore, we expect that you have:
  • Proven leadership experience (preferably as leader of leaders) within a complex organisational structure
  • Strong business acumen (preferably in the financial sector and corporate customer segment) with a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer needs
  • Effective stakeholder management skills, capable of negotiating and influencing stakeholders across various levels to foster strong collaboration and shared priorities.
