With the US as a key market for expansion, the company is now seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Retail to join its team!
About the role
As the Head of Retail, you will be responsible for executing CHIMI´s retail strategy and working with the Store Managers to achieve exceptional results. You will play a pivotal role in the retail expansion, ensuring that all current and future stores meet revenue and profitability targets. In this strategic yet hands-on role, you will oversee all aspects of retail operations, from optimizing store performance to driving growth and profitability. You will report to the CEO and work closely with various cross-functional teams to align retail objectives with overall company goals.
In this role, you will:
Drive Retail Performance & Growth: Optimize operations, conversion rates, and customer spend to boost revenue across all stores
Manage Budgets & P&L: Oversee store budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability
Enhance Operations: Increase foot traffic, stock turnover, and reduce shrinkage
Merchandising & Promotions: Develop data-driven strategies to maximize sales and inventory performance
Data-Driven Decisions: Use analytics to refine strategies and improve store performance
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage teams to meet KPIs and foster a high-performance culture
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, product, and operations teams to align objectives
Market Insights: Monitor trends, consumer behavior, and competitors to adjust strategies
About You
We're looking for someone with at least 7 years of experience in retail leadership and store operations, including a hands-on background as a Store Manager or Retail Manager. You should be a strategic thinker with experience in driving retail performance, budget management, and team development. We value data-driven insights, strong leadership skills, and a proactive, hands-on approach. Experience in retail expansion, including new store development, is a big plus.
At least 7 years of experience in retail leadership, including Store or Retail Manager roles
Expertise in P&L management and multi-store operations
Strong analytical skills and a results-driven approach to driving retail performance
Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams
A strategic mindset with the ability to execute retail strategies
Experience with new store openings, including project management, is highly desirable
Strong communication and collaboration skills
A proactive, self-driven attitude with an eye for detail and a customer-first approach
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
