Looking to combine strategic leadership with hands-on commercial ownership? Here's your chance to lead the commercial expansion of GlobalConnect's public segment in Sweden.

As Head of Public Sweden, you will play a key role in how we strengthen our presence in the public sector. With responsibility for direction, ambition, and team leadership, you will shape how we create value for municipalities, regions, and public authorities, ensuring the public sector has a reliable and secure digital foundation for the future.

In this role, you will take full responsibility for developing the public segment in Sweden. You will lead the commercial agenda, ensure strong sales execution, and competitive participation in public tenders. You will collaborate closely with Nordic Public peers and work with Bid Management and Business Development to shape winning proposals. Your leadership will create clarity, momentum, and alignment across teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Sweden's Public Segment strategy, growth and commercial execution.
  • Build long-term relationships with municipalities, regions, public authorities, and public enterprises.
  • Drive participation in tenders and secure competitive, compliant bids.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team with clear goals and accountability.
  • Collaborate with Nordic Public peers to align country execution with Nordic strategy.

What you need to succeed
  • 10+ years of relevant experience driving transformation, preferably within complex B2B environments.
  • 5+ years of experience working with the Swedish public sector (municipalities, regions, education and/or central authorities), including deep knowledge of public procurement, framework agreements, and tender processes.
  • Proven leadership track record with 5+ years of people management experience, ideally in a matrix or Nordic setting.
  • Strong business acumen, including P&L understanding, portfolio profitability and sound commercial judgement.
  • Experience across infrastructure, connectivity, advanced security, or managed services is a plus.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken.

The team and GlobalConnect

You will be part of our Nordic Public organization and lead the Swedish Public team. Collaboration across Sweden, Norway, and Denmark is central, supported by Bid Management and Business Development.

GlobalConnect is the digital backbone of the Nordics - we build, own, and operate fibre networks and data centres that keep society connected and secure. We take our role seriously and this role will be subject to a background check.
