In this role, you will be a part of the Business Management Leadership Team and lead the Product Management unit. You will be accountable for the Swedish B2B product portfolio and roadmap, leading three domain heads and a team of experienced product professionals.
What you'll do:
This role is about owning the product portfolio and enabling the business.
As Head of Product Management, you own the end-to-end B2B product portfolio and lifecycle - from roadmap and development priorities to profitability, quality and retirement. You are accountable for ensuring that the product portfolio is scalable, economically sound and fit to support the commercial and segment strategies set for Telia B2B.
A core part of your mission is to continuously simplify and modernize the portfolio, balancing legacy products with new development to reduce complexity, improve customer experience and increase cost efficiency.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the Product Management unit and develop a strong leadership team with four direct report 3 domain heads and one additional function.
- Own the Swedish B2B product portfolio and roadmap, covering both short- and long-term horizons.
- Define product strategy and portfolio structure, ensuring the portfolio enables and supports commercial and segment strategies set by Commercial Management and Segment & Pricing.
- Translate commercial, segment and customer insights into product requirements and roadmap priorities, in close collaboration with Commercial Management, Segment & Pricing and Customer Base Management.
- Continuously simplify the product portfolio, reducing complexity, overlaps and technical debt while improving clarity, scalability and time-to-market.
- Balance legacy and new development, ensuring business continuity while driving modernization and innovation.
- Own the full product lifecycle, including launch, enhancement and retirement decisions.
- Own product-level economics, including profitability, COGS and OPEX, with strong understanding of CAPEX impact across the portfolio.
- Prioritize product-related CAPEX initiatives in close collaboration with Portfolio & Demand, who own overall CAPEX planning and investment strategy.
- Ensure product quality, stability and customer experience, including product-level NPS, in close collaboration with Operations and Operational Excellence.
- Coordinate product enablement, ensuring sell-, deliver-, operate-, support- and billing-readiness across the organization.
- Drive cross-portfolio improvements, including bundling, convergence, CX improvements and simplification.
- Collaborate closely with Group Product, Technology, Innovation, IoT and Telia Cygate to ensure aligned development governance and efficient execution.
- Act as a change leader, continuously evolving ways of working, governance and portfolio steering within Product Management.
What will help you thrive in this role:
To succeed in this role, we believe you have proven experience as a senior people leader, with the ability to lead leaders and build strong, engaged teams. You have a solid background in B2B product management within telecom, technology or infrastructure-heavy industries. We believe you're a structured person with a strategic mindset.
Key experiences:
- Strong experience in portfolio steering, lifecycle management and simplification.
- Senior leadership skills, combined with experience from B2B product management
- Clear understanding of product economics, including COGS, OPEX and CAPEX.
- Experience working with customer experience metrics, such as product-level NPS.
- Proven ability to lead change and transformation in complex environments.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills across business, commercial and technology domains.
- A university degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or a related field.
- Fluent in Swedish and English
