As the Head of IP Routers & Fronthaul, you will oversee Ericsson's strategic initiatives and operations for key portfolios, including RAN Connect, Router 6000, and Optical Fronthaul. These portfolios are vital to Ericsson's 5G transport solutions, enabling the development of scalable, sustainable, and high-performing networks that meet evolving industry demands.
In this role, you will guide technical innovation, foster key partnerships, and align business strategies to ensure Ericsson continues to lead the telecommunications industry. Your leadership will enable Ericsson to deliver transformative, market-leading connectivity solutions while meeting evolving operator needs and advancing sustainable practices.
What you will do:
- Strategic Leadership:
Define and execute the vision and roadmap for RAN Connect, Router 6000, and Optical Fronthaul portfolios, ensuring alignment with Ericsson's overall strategies.
Position Ericsson's transport portfolios as leaders in cutting-edge architectures, including high-performing programmable networks, RAN Compute, and Cloud RAN, driving innovation for 5G and beyond.
Develop and manage strategies and relationships with key transport partners, driving collaboration to shape innovative network technologies.
Demonstrate a challenger mindset with strong business insight into customer value, adopting a solution-oriented, end-to-end functional ownership approach.
- Product Development & Innovation:
Oversee product lifecycle management, integrating emerging technologies like packet-based transport systems, advanced synchronization, and energy-efficient solutions.
Drive innovation in scalable network technologies that address operator challenges within modern telecommunications landscapes.
- Profitability and Market Growth:
Drive portfolio growth and profitability by identifying key market opportunities and executing strategies that enhance Ericsson's competitive position globally.
Collaborate across teams to refine customer-centric solutions and develop compelling value propositions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
Build strong partnerships with Ericsson's internal teams, customers, and industry organizations to establish cohesive product offerings.
Actively engage with external stakeholders to align portfolio strategies with market demands and customer needs, fostering trust and collaboration.
- Operational Excellence:
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs within budget and resource constraints.
Set ambitious performance targets, ensure accountability, and deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.
Monitor competitor actions, market trends, and customer feedback, adjusting strategies to enhance Ericsson's offerings and leadership position.
The skills you bring:
- Proven ability to lead high-performing teams in telecommunications
- Deep understanding of the RAN portfolio, with focus on RAN architectures and technologies.
- Demonstrated expertise in IP routing, optical transport, and fronthaul systems
- Comprehensive knowledge of the global telecom market, including emerging trends and evolving transport technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain partnerships across diverse teams and stakeholders
