We are now seeking an experienced and inspiring Head of Global Trade Compliance to lead the entire Epiroc Trade Compliance organization - globally and regionally - as well as all strategic, tactical, and operational aspects of trade compliance across the Epiroc Group.
About the role
As Head of Global Trade Compliance, you will drive Epiroc's global Trade Compliance agenda and ensure full alignment with Group policies and legal requirements across all regions. You will lead the global and regional Trade Compliance functions and steer the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of governance frameworks, processes, and tools that enable compliant and efficient operations.
In this role, you will shape how Trade Compliance supports business objectives while maintaining the highest standards of ethics, transparency, and operational excellence. You will work closely with leaders across Product Companies, Distribution Centers, and Customer Centers, while strengthening the organization's competence, culture, and capabilities within Trade Compliance.
You will report directly to the RGD President and serve as a trusted advisor and compliance partner to stakeholders throughout the Epiroc Group.
While subject matter expertise will be meriting, the key criteria are excellent leadership skills and an ability to manage a diverse global organization with a strategic mindset and excellent ability to drive change across the whole organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Epiroc's Global Trade Compliance organization-globally and regionally-and take accountability for strategic, tactical, and operational trade compliance activities across the Group.
- Build and maintain a strong, capable Global Trade Compliance function with clear roles and responsibilities at global and regional levels.
- Define, implement, and continuously enhance the global governance framework, including policies, processes, procedures, and controls.
- Translate complex global trade regulations into clear business direction and long-term compliance frameworks.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Global Trade Compliance team, ensuring a collaborative, inclusive team culture.
- Provide training, guidance, and strategic insights to leaders and stakeholders, while identifying competence gaps and implementing targeted development programs to strengthen trade compliance capabilities across the organization.
- Drive deployment, adoption, and global alignment of digital trade compliance tools that support efficient and compliant processes.
- Set and follow up on KPIs, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with corporate and individual performance targets.
- Collaborate with external authorities and represent Epiroc in engagements related to import/export compliance requirements.
Experience and requirements
- At least 10 years of senior experience within Trade Compliance, Supply Chain Operations, or a similar area.
- Proven track record in leading business transformation and implementing best - practice compliance frameworks.
- Experience engaging with trade authorities regarding import/export requirements.
- Demonstrated change leadership experience in global matrix organizations and virtual teams.
- Experience with Trade Compliance digital tools is an advantage.
- University degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering or similar, relevant field.
- Fluency in English is required, both written and verbally. Additional languages are a plus.
