We are looking for an experienced and business-orientedHead of Facilities Development & Maintenanceto lead and coordinate all aspects of facility planning, operations, and maintenance across Magle Group's locations in Sweden and Denmark. As Head of Facilities Development & Maintenance, you will play a central role in aligning long-term site strategies with operational needs. You will manage critical infrastructure and utilities, drive the development and execution of facility investments, and oversee a professional and structured maintenance function.
You have a strong background in facilities management in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals or biotech. With your technical expertise and leadership skills, you are able to plan, prioritise and deliver both day-to-day operations and long-term improvements across multiple sites. You understand the requirements of GMP environments and can balance compliance with practical execution.

Main responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of a Group-wide facility strategy aligned with Magle Group's manufacturing and growth objectives.
- Oversee planning and delivery of facility investments, site refurbishments and infrastructure upgrades across Malmö, Lund, Køge and Hårlev.
- Ensure all facilities, utilities and systems (e.g. HVAC, purified water, cleanrooms, autoclaves) are maintained to a high standard and operational reliability.
- Establish and operate a preventive and predictive maintenance programme to minimise downtime and ensure compliance.
- Maintain GMP readiness of facility systems and support qualification and validation activities.
- Oversee CAPEX project delivery from concept to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets and regulatory requirements are met.
- Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance at all sites, in collaboration with EHS functions.
- Manage facility-related documentation, protocols and change control procedures.
- Lead and develop the facilities and maintenance teams, promoting a culture of ownership, safety and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure facilities support manufacturing processes, R&D operations and regulatory expectations.
- Drive energy efficiency, sustainability initiatives and cost optimisation across all facilities.
- Maintain effective relationships with landlords, service providers and regulatory agencies.
Previous experience and competencies
- Significant experience in facilities management, engineering or technical operations within the pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical or medical device industries.
- Proven ability to manage multi-site operations and deliver projects in regulated (GMP/ISO) environments.
- Technical knowledge of critical facility systems such as HVAC, cleanrooms, purified water and other utilities.
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, including EU GMP and ISO 13485.
- Experience with lifecycle planning of facility assets and infrastructure investment strategy.
- Skilled in project management, budgeting and contractor coordination.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across all levels of the organisation.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience building and leading technical teams.
- High standards of documentation, operational discipline and performance tracking.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on problem solving and operational oversight.

Location: Malmö, Sweden. Travelling to sites are required.
