Your Mission
As Head of Engineering, your mission is to build and lead a world-class engineering team that transforms product vision into robust, scalable, and intelligent software. You'll be responsible for Learnster's end-to-end technical execution - from architecture and tooling to process, people, and AI-powered product delivery.
You'll work in close partnership with the CEO and incoming CPO to shape the engineering strategy and culture, ensuring Learnster delivers with speed, stability, and innovation - across both our core platform and next-generation AI initiatives.
You'll lead by example, not only as a senior engineering leader but as a true Entreprenerd - combining visionary thinking with hands-on execution, speed with structure, and continuous improvement with long-term scalability.

Your Mission

You'll be responsible for Learnster's end-to-end technical execution - from architecture and tooling to process, people, and AI-powered product delivery.

What You'll Do
- Own the technical strategy and architecture across Learnster's products.
- Lead the engineering team and its leaders - frontend, backend, QA, and DevOps.
- Drive modern development practices across coding, testing, release, and monitoring.
- Embed AI capabilities into Learnster's core platform and product strategy.
- Evaluate and integrate technologies such as RAG pipelines, LangChain, and vector databases.
- Build the infrastructure for AI-powered product modules and ML workflows.
- Establish a secure, scalable, and performant cloud-native architecture.
- Build a culture of ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Design to ensure delivery is aligned, predictable, and impactful.
- Support recruitment, retention, and development of top-tier engineering talent.
- Have 10+ years of engineering leadership experience in B2B SaaS environments.
- Have built and scaled high-performing engineering teams with strong process and autonomy.
- Bring deep experience in cloud-native architecture (e.g., AWS, GCP), CI/CD, and DevOps.
- Understand what it takes to go from prototype to production - with security, performance, and reliability in mind.
- Have built production-ready AI applications using frameworks like LangChain, RAG, and vector stores.
- Work fluently with AI dev tools like Cursor, Windsurf, or GitHub Copilot.
- Have hands-on experience with LLM APIs from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini or similar.
- Understand AI as a business enabler - not just a tech feature - and can translate that into product and architecture.
- Thrive in fast-paced, change-oriented environments with global ambitions.
- Are excited by the opportunity to shape an engineering culture where AI is not an add-on - but a core capability.
- Have led engineering through scaling journeys - team, platform, or product.
- Combine strong architectural insight with a pragmatic builder mindset.
