ABOUT THE JOB
As the Head of Business Solutions, you will spearhead a team of 30+ IT professionals focused on the end-to-end lifecycle management of all enterprise applications (on-prem and cloud, OTS and homemade) across all domains, including HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales & Marketing. You will interface with business stakeholders to capture requirements and ensure that the delivered solutions are in sync with the overarching business strategy. This role demands a tech-savvy leader with a robust understanding of business processes and cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities
ABOUT YOUR TASKS
- Strategic Planning and Alignment:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Architect and implement IT roadmaps that align with business KPIs, leveraging the best mature technologies: API, Low Code / No Code platforms, RPA, AI & GenAI, Data & Analytics,...
- Ensure IT solutions are congruent with the enterprise architecture and business strategy.
- Application Development and Implementation:
- Oversee the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) of business applications both on-premise and SaaS
- Ensure timely delivery of applications within the defined scope and budget.
- Leverage Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) methodologies.
- Ensure applications adhere to quality assurance standards and user acceptance criteria.
- Application Support and Maintenance:
- Manage the L1, L2, and L3 support tiers for business applications.
- Ensure applications are resilient, secure, and performant.
- Implement ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
- Monitor application health and performance metrics, and implement optimizations.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of 30+ IT professionals.
- Foster a culture of continuous delivery, innovation, and operational excellence.
- Provide career development and growth opportunities for team members.
- Conduct regular performance appraisals and provide actionable feedback.
- Project Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end project management lifecycle.
- Ensure projects adhere to timelines, scope, and budget constraints.
- Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Utilize Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies for project execution.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain robust relationships with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication.
- Conduct regular stakeholder briefings and provide project status updates.
- Governance and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to IT governance frameworks, policies, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and report on IT performance metrics and SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
- Innovation and Improvement:
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for technological innovation and process improvement.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
- Recommend and implement cutting-edge solutions to enhance IT capabilities (e.g. GenAI, Agentic AI, edge computing...)
- Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fluent in English. Another language is a plus.
- At least 10 years of experience in IT management, with a focus on enterprise application lifecycle management.
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring large multi-national teams of IT professionals.
- Experience in developing and implementing IT roadmaps that align with business KPIs and strategies.
- Proficiency in Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD methodologies for application development and deployment.
- Hands-on experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ITIL best practices for application support and maintenance.
- Strong project management skills, with experience in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors.
- Experience in ensuring adherence to IT governance frameworks, policies, and regulatory standards.
- A track record of identifying and implementing technological innovations and process improvements.
- Understand our customers' need and suggest solutions to create a better experience for them.
