We now offer an exciting opportunity for a Global Category Director for our sweets category to join our team at our headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark.

This is a highly international leadership role where you will own the end-to-end global category agenda. Shaping strategy, driving innovation, and translating insights into execution across markets.

This is what you'll do

You will define and execute the global category strategy for sweets, lead innovation and portfolio decisions, and work closely with International Sales, S&OP, and local markets to drive profitable and sustainable growth. As a member of the UBI Commercial Leadership Team, you will also help shape the broader commercial direction of Unibake.

Primary areas of responsibility
  • Define and execute the global category strategy, identifying long-term initiatives to drive profitable growth and shape the Unibake footprint (Build-Borrow-Buy)
  • Translate category strategy into focused execution through annual planning with prioritized markets and high-value initiatives
  • Lead the global innovation agenda, owning cross-country innovation projects driven by consumer and customer insights
  • Align CAPEX investments with category strategy and market opportunities, supporting strong business cases
  • Drive profitable growth in close collaboration with International Sales and the S&OP team, ensuring optimal global S&OP, sourcing, and portfolio management
  • Embed Unibake's global sustainability strategy by developing and following up on Health and Climate plans for the category
  • Monitor category and product performance, drive insights, and lead corrective actions together with local markets
  • Strengthen a One Unibake culture by sharing best practices, tools, and ways of working across markets
  • Lead and develop the team
Kvalifikationer
This is what you need to succeed:

You have:
  • Master's degree or equivalent educational background
  • 10+ years of experience in product and innovation management within complex, international B2B and/or FMCG organizations
  • Experience from a similar role within the food industry is considered a strong advantage
  • Strong market, consumer, and customer focus, with a track record of translating insights into successful products and innovations
  • Proven experience from global/regional roles, with the ability to operate effectively across multiple markets, countries, and channels
  • Experience leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams in matrixed, global or regional environments
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
