Genexys Biotech AB is now seeking an R&D Coordinator to support and strengthen our growing research programs, laboratory operations, and product development initiatives.

Position Overview

The Research and Development Coordinator will play a key role in managing, organizing, and supporting research activities focused on hyaluronic acid formulations, biomaterial innovation, slow-release formulations, and advanced biotechnology applications.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, scientifically driven, and capable of coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth execution of R&D plans, adherence to documentation standards, and compliance.

This role combines scientific understanding, project coordination, and operational responsibility to help bring new ideas from concept to prototype and, ultimately, to market.

Key Responsibilities

Research Coordination

Coordinate day-to-day R&D activities related to hyaluronic acid-based products formulation/ process design, and biomaterial characterization.

Assist in designing experimental protocols, managing research timelines, and supporting ongoing research studies.

Collaborate with scientists, regulatory teams, and product engineers to streamline development processes.

Project & Documentation Management

Maintain detailed records, technical reports, and research documentation in compliance with internal and industry standards (ISO/GMP where applicable).

Support preparation of research summaries, scientific presentations, and reports for management or partners.

Track project milestones, deliverables, and resource needs across multiple development streams.

Innovation & Technology Advancement

Contribute to technology scouting, industry trend monitoring, and competitive research within biotechnology and HA-based biomaterials.

Assist in evaluation of new technologies, raw materials, laboratory equipment, and advanced formulation techniques.

Support prototyping, scale-up studies, and validation activities for new biotech products.

Cross-functional Support

Work closely with Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Production teams to facilitate product development and compliance.

Engage with external research partners, suppliers, and academic collaborators when required.

Provide administrative and logistic support for R&D meetings, audits, and innovation workshops.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, Chemistry, Materials Science, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field.

Experience

Experience in a laboratory, R&D, biotech, or medical device setting is strongly preferred.

Familiarity with process chemistry, biotechnology process development, slow-release formulation, biomaterials, or aesthetic/medical formulations is an advantage.

Competence in scientific documentation, reporting, and project coordination.

Skills

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Ability to understand scientific concepts and support experimental workflows.

Proficiency in documentation, data handling, and digital research tools.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
