About the Role

We are looking for someone who wants to become part of the Sigma family while taking on a central role in one of our customer assignments within advanced product development. In this position, you will take full responsibility for the FMEA process within the customer's R&D organization and contribute to the development of their ways of working in risk management, quality, and requirements management.

As an FMEA expert, you will be a driving force in ensuring that risk analyses are carried out with high quality, that methods and tools are used effectively, and that the organization receives the support, guidance, and training it needs. You will become a key figure in structuring, developing, and implementing the customer's FMEA process-while also gaining opportunities to grow in an environment where knowledge, collaboration, and innovation are at the forefront.

Experience Requirements

We are looking for someone with a solid background in risk management and FMEA work within R&D. To succeed in this role, we believe you bring:

• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of System, Functional, and Design FMEAs
• Good understanding of requirements management
• Experience in configuring and implementing tools related to FMEA or similar methodologies
• Knowledge of various FMEA methodologies, including AIAG-VDA
• Familiarity with traceability requirements and relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 9001/14001, IATF)
• Experience in delivering trainings and developing educational material
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives in parallel and communicate effectively within organizations with many stakeholders
• A self-driven and proactive mindset, combined with the ability to think creatively

Meritorious Qualifications

• Understanding of ICE and xHEV powertrains
• Experience working with international suppliers and OEMs
• Basic engineering knowledge of other unit types (e.g., REX, electric machines, etc.)
• Experience implementing a new requirements management system at an OEM or supplier
