Main responsibilities
The Fleet Performance Analyst works closely with our customers to enable the full potential of the installed products.The job also entails to study and analyze new customer's fleet and provide insights in how operations can be optimized through the use of MMT's selection of products.
Vessel performance analysis
Analyze and create reports to customers for vessel and fleet performance
Investigate and assist the customers to establish efficient routines for vessel operations
Assist customers with training and ensure customer satisfaction
Data analytics
Develop and improve tools and processes for efficient performance analysis
Collaborate with the in-house data science team to utilize machine learning models and other tools to further increase customer value
You will also be involved throughout the project lifecycle, supporting sales discussions, helping define project scope, collecting essential implementation data, and following up on product health after delivery. Your insights will contribute to identifying new sales opportunities, analyzing customer fleet needs, and preparing reports that highlight optimization potential using MMT products. To ensure our solutions remain relevant and valuable, you'll stay informed on evolving regulations and market developments, and actively feed customer and industry feedback into ongoing product development.
Background and skills
Master's or bachelor's degree within a technical field is an advantage (preferably marine focused), or relevant work experience
Experience in working with vessels, at sea or in operation/technical management
Experience in data analytics
Good analytical skills and like digging into data in pursuit of knowledge
Proficient in data analytics tools such as excel, python, others
Fluency in English, both verbal and written
Meritorious with understanding and knowledge regarding classification societies and ship rules & regulations
Meritorious with experience with customer relations
