This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we've announced the plan for SoftBank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. Your role and responsibilities

This role is responsible for turning financial data into meaningful insights that guide smarter business decisions. By collecting, analyzing, and interpreting key financial information, it supports accurate budgeting and forecasting while identifying trends, risks, and opportunities. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, the role translates complex data into clear recommendations that enhance financial performance and help optimize overall business outcomes.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Analyze business performance against plans, uncover key drivers, and recommend actions to improve results.
  • Build reliable processes and tools that ensure transparent, accurate, and audit‑ready financial data across the organization.
  • Prepare financial models, forecasts, and reports while validating data quality and assessing submissions from local reporting units.
  • Present insights, trends, and recommendations to management through clear reports, summaries, and impactful presentations.
  • Boost productivity by automating workflows, eliminating inefficiencies, and maintaining strong internal controls and documentation for audits.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong skills in financial analysis, accounting, performance management, and data analytics.
  • Solid understanding of risk management, internal controls, and operational excellence principles.
  • Ability to interpret financial data, build models, identify trends, and support strategic decision‑making.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt messages to different audiences and management levels.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking, combined with result orientation, decisiveness, and high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated commitment, resilience, flexibility, and strong interpersonal skills, including empathy and effective collaboration across functions.
