Financial Modelling and Valuation lead

We are seeking a highly analytical and business-minded Financial Modelling and Valuation lead who will take full ownership of the company's financial, operational, and valuation modelling landscape.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing the current financial model into a robust operational model that provides forward-looking insights and supports strategic decision-making across the organization. This includes building empirical evidence for assumptions, running modelling scenarios and making in depth analyses, support M&A activities, and preparing for a future exit process.

This is a highly visible role, reporting to our Head of Corporate Finance, with significant interaction across business units, finance, corporate development, senior management, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and develop the group's valuation model/s

• Build empirical evidence for all assumptions and modelling logic

• Perform scenario analyses based on actuals, budgets, business plans, market projections etc. with responsibility for analysing key drivers and explaining variances.

• Run complex scenarios, analyse the results and provide strategic insight

• Provide support in M&A transactions

• Developliquidity forecasting model

• Prepare the model for future exit processes

• Partner across the organization

Profile and Competencies

Experience:

• Proven in-depth expertise in financial modelling, valuation, corporate finance, transaction services, or similar analytical roles (experience from infrastructure is considered a plus; however, it is not mandatory).

• Proven track record building or transforming complex models in fast-moving, data-driven environments (e.g., IB/PE, M&A, modelling teams).

Skills:

• Expert-level Excel modelling with the ability to structure, simplify and optimize large models.

• Deep understanding of valuation, capital structures, financial statements, cash-flow mechanics, and value drivers.

• Strong analytical rigor and ability to validate assumptions with evidence.

• Clear, persuasive communicator to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proactive, structured, detail-oriented, with a strong ownership mentality.

• Comfortable juggling multiple priorities while collaborating across functions.

• Independent and curious self-starter who enjoys liaising with different counterparties and is a strong team player.
