This Position reports to:
Senior Project Finance Manager

After the spin off, ABB Robotics is in a unique position to build future proof, AI enabled, processes and systems. In only two years after the spin off, ABB Robotics will have a whole new IS architecture that will enable global, more standard and AI enabled processes. To ensure we maximize the potential to the business of this new system landscape, the Finance function has launched the ABB Robotics Finance Transformation Program.

Preferred location is in Europe.
The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-hybrid
The role reports to the Head of the Finance Transformation Program

Your role and responsibilities
You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Lead multidisciplinary central project team, from project planning to stabilisation
  • Influences, partners and drives alignment with central and local PMO teams to ensure goals are achieved as planned
  • Drive issue resolution to achieve milestones and project outcomes
  • Manage interdependencies between multiple projects/initiatives of complex nature
  • Leads change and relationships in an effective way, involving processes, technology, ways of working and data
  • Drive overall project schedule, milestones, tasks, and cost estimates.
  • Participate in technology/solution decisions with architecture and process teams, to include ensuring that technical design, unit testing, deployment, and implementation requirements are properly documented.
  • Contribute to change and communication management across the Finance organization

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
  • University degree - Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • 15+ years total experience, a significant proportion of which has been in leading transformation projects as PMO, ideally in the Finance function
  • Relevant experience from a reputable consulting firm is also appreciated
  • Ability to manage interdependencies between multiple projects/initiatives
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment, recommend and lead decision making based on accurate and timely analyses
  • High-level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to multi-task and rapidly integrate and support new customers / environments
  • Proven networking and influencing skills and managing teams (directly and indirectly)
  • Ability to communicate clearly, paint a story, and report activities in a clear and effective way to stakeholders at various levels of seniority
  • Able to comfortably work across teams of different cultures and time zones
  • Agile methodology experience required
  • PMP / PRINCE certification a plus
