About the Assignment

We are looking for a Finance Manager to take a key role in monthly closings, financial reporting and statutory accounts in an international finance organization. You will work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Treasury and Financial Services, ensuring high quality reporting, strong internal controls and continuous improvements in processes and ways of working.

Job DescriptionOversee and coordinate monthly financial closings in SAP and reporting in the AARO consolidation system, including related SOX controls

Review and analyze monthly financial reporting and provide insights to relevant stakeholders

Proactively monitor liquidity levels and support follow-up activities

Contribute to the preparation of the Group Annual Report and Quarterly Reports filed with the SEC in the US

Lead the preparation of local statutory accounts/annual report, including coordination with external auditors

Support covenant compliance monitoring in close collaboration with Treasury and Financial Services

Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Lead the transfer of accounting tasks to a shared service center

RequirementsUniversity degree in Finance

At a minimum 5 - 10 years relevant experience from similar tasks at an Accounting Department

Strong K3 accounting knowledge

Strong experience in Excel

Broad knowledge of accounting and financial control processes and systems in an international context

Experience working with IFRS and SOX

Experience with covenant compliance and liquidity monitoring

Experience managing staff under compressed timelines to meet financial reporting deadlines in a global context

Fluent English, written and spoken

Nice to haveUser experience in SAP ECC

User experience in SAP S/4

Experience with the AARO consolidation tool
