Finance Manager, Division Downstream

In this role, you will work actively and contribute to improving the overall performance of the Downstream business by providing insightful business analysis that supports decision-making to the management of the division.

• Ensure transparency of business results, finance, processes, and strategy and thus contribute to higher economic effectiveness.
• Report and monitor the company's financial performance as well as the achievement of their strategy, and act as a financial business partner.

What will you do?

• Steer the financial planning of the division by analyzing its performance and risks
• Drive performance improvement initiatives in line with strategy and proactively identify recommendations on corrective actions to reach best in class performance.
• Oversee all audit and internal control operations
• Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to division management
• Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines
• Act as superuser for BI tools/controlling systems to secure current and future reporting requirements
• Secure quality of reported numbers
• Providing training and support to staff and users

Your profile

• Proven experience as manager of finance or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices
• Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. Dynamics)
• An analytical mind with a strategic ability
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Excellent English, verbal and written
• Relevant academic degree
