As a Mechanical Design Consultant, you will be responsible for the design and development of engine components, with a strong focus on CAD-based design in Creo. You will manage the creation, refinement, and maintenance of products throughout the entire development cycle, from concept to final solution. The role involves building and managing CAD assemblies in Creo, identifying and resolving packaging conflicts, and ensuring quality and readiness for release. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in performance, combustion, air and gas systems, thermal management, EATS, PCU, and CAE, contributing to design decisions and improvements based on analysis and feedback from production and the field. The position also includes cooperation with production, testing, purchasing, and suppliers, as well as opportunities to participate in prototype builds, rig testing, and work with manufacturing facilities to optimize components and systems.
Your Missions
  • Create and maintain CAD models, assemblies, and technical drawings in Creo
  • Identify and resolve technical issues and packaging conflicts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers
  • Participate in prototype builds, testing, and production optimization
Your Profile
  • Strong experience in mechanical design using Creo
  • Previous relevant experience with engine components and engine systems
  • Background in automotive or industrial product development
  • Solid understanding of CAD-based product development and technical drawings
  • Ability to identify technical issues and work systematically with quality
  • Previous experience with KOLA structure and cross-functional collaboration is a plus
  • Personality and knowledge are key - you may be junior (2-3 years of experience) if you have the right drive and commitment
  • Proficiency in English is required; fluency in Swedish is a strong advantage
