Assignment Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior ESG & Compliance Consultant to lead and support sustainability and compliance efforts across their group companies. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in ESG strategy, reporting, compliance management, and cross-functional coordination.
Key Responsibilities
ESG Strategy and Reporting
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of ESG and sustainability initiatives across all group companies
Ensure accurate and timely sustainability reporting in line with applicable frameworks
Monitor ESG-related regulatory developments and provide guidance on compliance implications
Support the integration of ESG factors into business operations, procurement, and product development
Compliance Management
Implement and maintain group-wide compliance policies and programs
Coordinate risk assessments and ensure implementation of mitigation measures
Drive training and awareness programs to foster a strong compliance culture
Cross-Company Collaboration
Facilitate alignment between legal, finance, HR, operations, and other departments on ESG and compliance practices
Serve as liaison with external stakeholders such as auditors, consultants, authorities, and corporate HQ
Data Management and Monitoring
Oversee the collection, validation, and analysis of ESG-related data
Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards to track progress toward sustainability and compliance goals
Support ESG disclosures and benchmarking for both internal and external audiences
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in ESG, sustainability, and compliance
Strong understanding of ESG reporting frameworks and regulatory requirements
Experience in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement
Proficiency in both Swedish and English
