Your role and responsibilities:

The Endpoint & Device Services Lead is accountable for the full lifecycle, management, security, and user experience of all end‑user computing devices within ABB Robotics. This includes physical devices, mobile endpoints, virtual desktops, and printing services.

The role ensures that employees are equipped with standardized, secure, and high‑performing devices, while driving efficiency, cost optimization, and modern endpoint management practices.

The work model for the role is: hybrid/remote

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • End‑User Devices & DaaS Lifecycle: Own the full lifecycle of laptops, desktops, peripherals, and accessories; govern DaaS provisioning, refresh, and asset management; standardize device models, images, and configurations; coordinate procurement, inventory tracking, and disposal.
  • Modern Endpoint Management: Own endpoint management platforms and policies (primarily Microsoft Intune); govern device configuration, patching, compliance, and software deployment; oversee MDM for smartphones and tablets; ensure secure management of corporate and BYOD devices.
  • Virtual Desktop Services: Own Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (e.g., Azure Virtual Desktop); ensure availability, performance, and correct sizing of virtual workspaces; drive adoption and cost‑optimized delivery of virtual environments.
  • Print & Scan Services: Govern enterprise print and scan services, including vendor contracts; ensure secure, modern, and cost‑efficient print solutions across the organization.
  • Endpoint Security Coordination: Ensure operating systems and applications remain secure and up to date; coordinate endpoint security controls such as encryption, antivirus, and compliance policies; work closely with cybersecurity teams on endpoint risk mitigation.
  • Operational Collaboration: Partner with Service Management for incident and problem resolution; support cross‑functional coordination to maintain stable, secure, and well‑managed endpoint environments.

Qualifications for the role:

  • 5-7 years of experience in Endpoint, EUC, or Digital Workplace roles
  • Strong hands‑on knowledge of Microsoft Intune and endpoint security concepts
  • Experience with DaaS, VDI, and enterprise printing environments
  • Vendor and service provider coordination experience
  • Strong operational ownership and user‑centric mindset
  • Excellent stakeholder management and clear communication skills for working with diverse, international stakeholders in English
