We are looking for anEmbedded SW Engineerfor our client to join theirFleet Insightsteam in Gothenburg (hybrid). Fleet Insights is an end-to-end service that helps autonomous drive developers get fast and detailed insight into the behavior and performance of software deployed in vehicles. The service enables flexible access to in-vehicle generated data and supports experimentation through dynamic data queries to speed up the development cycle.

The team works in an agile setup with requirements management, embedded implementation in C++, integration, testing, and deployment into a larger software stack.

Your mission
You will help shape and deliver a well-functioning service by ensuring embedded software fits together with cloud and backend parts. You will take ownership of high-quality deliveries and contribute to both the technical direction and the team's way of working.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experts to ensure embedded, cloud, and backend solutions come together in a robust end-to-end service (architecture and solution choices).
• Support the full product development lifecycle: requirement analysis, concept development, implementation, and testing.
• Write and review production C++ code guided by safety-critical standards in a Linux environment.
• Contribute to integration, testing, and deployment into the full software stack.
• Participate in forums and dialogs that shape product direction.
• Mentor and coach others when needed, supporting a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications & experience

• Strong C++ skills: able to write performant, testable, and maintainable software.
• Experience working in a large mono-repository with multiple teams and complex dependencies.
• Used to delivering high-quality code in CI/CD environments.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a clear ownership mindset and focus on continuous improvement.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally and aligning technical solutions with stakeholders.
