Assignment Overview

An automotive client is seeking a senior CAE Engineer specialized in 1D simulation of Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems (EATS).

What You Will Work On

Perform 1D simulations of EATS systems using GT-Power and Simulink

Develop and maintain high-fidelity system models

Implement advanced reaction mechanisms for various EATS components

Adapt models for different fuel types and operating conditions

Calibrate simulation models using laboratory test data

Contribute to strengthening technical deliverables within the development team

Support continuous improvement of aftertreatment system accuracy and robustness

What You Bring

Strong experience in 1D simulation within automotive powertrain systems

Hands-on expertise in GT-Power and Simulink

Deep understanding of catalyst chemistry and performance

Solid knowledge of the physical and chemical processes in modern EATS systems

Experience in model development and reaction mechanism implementation

Experience calibrating simulation models using lab test data

PhD in EATS system modeling or closely related field (preferred)
