As Domain Lead for our external websites, you own the strategy for how our web presence attracts, engages, and converts visitors into valuable business opportunities. The role combines deep understanding of digital marketing, UX, and content strategy with strong business acumen. Own the overarching strategy for our corporate websites and ensure that the sites function as a powerful marketing and conversion engine for our digital sales. The focus is on attracting relevant traffic, guiding visitors towards transactions, and creating a seamless experience that drives business growth.
In this role, you will work closely with our Chief Digital Officer and become a key member of the core team driving development forward. Together with management and other experts, you will help shape the customer experience of the future. The role initially has no direct reports, but line responsibility may be added over time. We value clear leadership towards both internal and external stakeholders and partners, where you lead and influence both directly and indirectly.
Responsibilities
- Strategy & vision: Define and execute the strategy for external websites in line with defined objectives and the overall digital roadmap.
- Traffic & conversion: Develop initiatives to attract qualified traffic, optimise conversion flows, and integrate analytics for continuous improvement.
- Content & experience: Ensure that content strategy, UX, and design deliver a compelling and consistent brand experience.
- Stakeholder management: Collaborate with marketing, sales, product teams, and external partners to align goals and priorities.
- Shared backbone: Ensure shared components, design systems, and measurement standards (e.g., conversion and engagement goals) that enable a cohesive experience across the organisation.
- Local activation: Work closely with local teams in each market to enable localisation, experimentation, and feedback loops that continuously improve the customer experience and business outcomes.
Mandate & Authorities
- Full responsibility for strategy and execution for our external websites.
- Mandate to define and manage the shared web framework (platform, component library, measurement standards) and to prioritise initiatives and release cadence across teams and business units.

You have solid experience in digital marketing and are well-versed in SEO, SEM, web analytics, and conversion optimisation. Your understanding of user journeys and how content drives engagement is strong, enabling you to develop and optimise web experiences that truly resonate with the target audience. You have clear business acumen and can link website performance to both revenue and strategic objectives. With experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex stakeholder landscapes, you have the ability to drive projects forward in collaboration with different parts of the organisation. In addition, you have broad technical competence with experience of CMS platforms, web technologies, and integration with marketing-automation tools, equipping you to operate in a modern digital environment.
Nice to have
- Experience of scaling and optimising corporate web in larger B2B organisations.
- Documented ability to introduce ways of working for data-driven improvement (A/B testing, experimentation, CRO).
- Used to collaborating with design and development teams and leading delivery across multiple sites/markets.
