About this opportunity:

Commercial Excellence plays a key role in supporting the growth and success ofManaged Services Networks (MSN)-Ericsson's industry-leading telco managed services business, managing over 1 billion subscriptions and 720,000 sites globally.

As MSN transforms network operations through AI, automation, and data-driven insights, Commercial Excellence ensures our commercial strategies, pricing models, and deal structures support this innovation.

We work closely with global sales and commercial teams to drive commercial standards, enable deal excellence, and protect value in complex engagements. Our work ensures that MSN continues to deliver world-class performance, efficiency, security, and customer experience-creating long-term value for our customers and Ericsson.

What you will do:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team as the Head of Commercial Excellence. As a key player in our MS Networks growth strategy, you will work closely with the MSN Head of Commercial Excellence to drive commercial discipline and ensure profitable growth within the Managed Network Services domain. Your role will involve collaboration with Market Area and Business Area Commercial Management and Sales teams to optimize customer-facing operations and enhance sales effectiveness globally.

Your key responsibilities will be:
  • Design, implement and manage commercial standards and guidelines
  • Provide training and upskilling for Sales and Commercial Management teams to deploy commercial standards and contractual models consistently.
  • Collaborate with Market Area and Business Area Commercial Management, Portfolio and Sales teams to develop and implement commercial strategies to monetize MSN value.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to MSN commercial standards in collaboration with the Commercial Management, Legal and MA Pre-Sales Teams.
  • Lead efforts to innovate and transform commercial operations through automation and AI technologies.


The skills you bring:

  • Proven experience in customer-facing operational or sales roles, preferably within the technology, telecommunications, or IT industry.
  • Strong aptitude in Commercial Management and deep understanding of sales dynamics.
  • Ability to establish rapport and influence decision-makers across various levels and functions.
  • Solid understanding of Business Critical Terms & Conditions and their implications on P&L and delivery.
  • Ethical leadership with excellent negotiation skills and a track record of building trusted partnerships.
  • Innovative thinker with the capability to drive transformation and change across commercial operations.


The priority location for this role is Sweden, however we are open to other global locations as well.

Note: Security clearance including references and relevant background screening will be conducted for final candidates.
