Our Artist Services team supports select artists and their teams with in-house digital distribution and licensing deals providing access to funding, royalty and finance management, catalog optimization, marketing, sync, and publishing-all through a single point of contact.
Our Self-service platform not only empowers artists with digital distribution but also serves as a data-driven pipeline for Artist Services, helping us identify promising talent. Hundreds of thousands of artists of all sizes actively self-release their music through Amuse. We discover artists using a proprietary data platform that analyzes insights from both Amuse-owned distribution channels and third-party platforms.

Role Description
The Artist Service team partners with and elevates independent artists, forging strongconnections with selected artists, managers, labels and other key industry stakeholders. Asour Director of Artist Services, you'll bring extensive experience from navigating the musicindustry, including passion and curiosity for the innovations and changes that impact artistsand their needs. In this role, you'll leverage data and insights to inform strategic decisions,guiding our teams and artists towards continued success. Through strong networking and anatural ability to form relationships, you'll foster key relationships and keep the teaminspired, further cementing Amuse in the industry.

Role Description

Responsibilities:
- Oversee general management and P&L responsibility for Amuse's "Artist Services"'reporting to the CEO
- Direct responsibility and strategic oversight of the following business areas: 1) A&R,2) artist promotion, 3) rights management / operations
- Develop and manage relationships with existing and prospective artists,
managers and label partners - Design and execute A&R strategies to discover and engage effectively with artists,managers, and labels
- Foster innovative artist promotion strategies and services
- Management and business development of Amuse's licensed catalogue
- Contribute to overall Amuse's strategy and be a key stakeholder in influencingtechnology and product roadmaps and vision
Qualities and skills you possess:
- 10+ years of experience is required with meaningful A&R track-record withinrecorded music and/or publishing
- Proven leader with experience scaling A&R teams, executing marketing andpromotion strategies, and demonstrating successful P&L ownership
- Strong understanding of music rights and digital distribution
- Strong communicator (able to present and influence all types of audiences fromartists to shareholders), adept at building relationships with artists, managers, andindustry stakeholders
- Strong analytical / numerical / IT skills (e.g. capable of understanding and applyingdata derived decisions)
- Proven ability to plan and execute: an ability to develop a coherent, forward lookingstrategy to create new business opportunities
- Entrepreneurial, innovative, and passionate about artist discovery and enhancingArtist Services and driving differentiation in the market
