Our context is defined by overlapping transformations. On one side, artificial intelligence is fundamentally reshaping how we work - augmenting creativity, accelerating collaboration between disciplines, and creating new ways to explore, test, and refine ideas. On the other side, the solution spaces we work in - clinical trials, hospital operations, and patient treatment - are also shifting rapidly, driven by new data streams, AI-powered automation, and evolving models of care.

As a Design Lead,you'llhelp us rethink and accelerate the entire product lifecycle: fromidentifyinghigh-potential opportunity spaces to prototyping and iterating rapidly, to delivering validated, production-ready digital solutions.You'llbe a key partner in shaping how we use AI as a creative collaborator, not just a tool - helping us move faster and more intelligently across discovery, design, and delivery.

You'llalso help us design for complex real-world environments. Our products support clinical site staff, hospital operations teams, and sponsors running clinical trials - as well as the patients receiving treatment. That means designing with awareness of regulatory and ethical requirements, and with sensitivity to the lived experiences of those on the front lines of care and research.

You willbe responsible forleading and guiding the multi-disciplinary design work(experience design, content design, design research)within a small product team composed of three of four squads.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Accountable for the full spectrum of design activities, guiding the team's work fromdiscovery, throughrapid prototyping ofhigh-levelsolutionconcepts to detailed interaction and visual design,ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
  

• 
  Identifiesand delivers non-UI basedelements of thesolution via automationand process design whereappropriate aspart of an end-to-end approach.
  

• 
  Collaborate closely with product and engineering leads of theteam, forming a three-legged stool leadership structure to ensure cohesive strategy and delivery.
  

• 
  Stimulateconceptual thinking and creativity and challengethe status quotowardscontinuous improvement.
  

• 
  Work closely with other Design Leads toensurecoherent user experience across user domains and products.
  

• 
  Contributetoand define theEvinovaDesign Systemand supporting implementation of new and efficient tools.
  

• 
  In collaboration with others,define,planandparticipatein iterative user testing and use findings to inform and improve design decisions.
  

• 
  Mentor and develop junior designers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
  

• 
  Develop prototypes that reflect real-world scenarios and integrate AI-driven automation.
  

• 
  Translate highly technical workflows into user-friendly concepts.
  

• 
  Create production-ready designs in collaboration with front-end developers.
  

Key Attributes:

• 
  Experience in leading smalldesign teams across the product development lifecycle, with a proventrack recordof deploying and scaling digital solutions.
  

• 
  Strongexpertisein interaction design,andinformation architecture
  

• 
  Proficiencywith modern research, design,content designandrapidprototyping tools and methodologies in agile environments.
  

• 
  Strong commitment to inclusive design, accessibility, and usability, and todelivering design outcomes tokey metrics
  

• 
  Excellent collaboration, and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  

• 
  Experience in operating as an independent designer or design leader onhighly complexB2B or B2B2C software.
  

• 
  Based in Gothenburg or Barcelona, with willingness to collaborate in-office with engineering teams.
  

• 
  Willingness to travel for research, project delivery, and workshops.
  

We also value:

  Coding or software development experience
  

• 
  Experience in healthcare and/or digital health sectors.
  

• 
  Familiarity with clinical trials and the drug development lifecycle.
  

• 
  A non-linear career path and diverse life experiences that enrich your perspective as a designer.
  

• 
  A second language (and everyadditionallanguage is a plus).
