Design Engineer

We're looking for an excellent engineer with exceptional sense for UX and design, who can turn new ideas into powerful user experiences without designer handoffs. You'll own our frontend while building full-stack features that make AI development with Lovable feel magical.

What we're looking for

• 
  You're that rare engineer who thinks in systems AND pixels
  
• 
  You ship beautiful interfaces without needing a designer to hold your hand
  
• 
  You're comfortable jumping between frontend and backend (We're happy to coach you on backend!)
  
• 
  You have strong opinions about both UX patterns and code architecture
  
• 
  You're obsessed with the details that make great products feel magical
  

Your responsibilities

• 
  Own our frontend architecture and make it a joy for others to build on
  
• 
  Ensure that Lovable's UX is unmatched by any other AI engineering platform
  
• 
  Create component systems that scale with our rapid growth
  
• 
  Make our product feel faster and smoother with every release
  
• 
  Help shape our technical architecture as we push the boundaries of AI
  
• 
  This is an in-office role (5 days a week)
