Position: Demand Planner
Location:Stockholm, Sweden
Employment Type:17 Months Fixed Term Contract

About the Position

As aDemand Planner for the Nordics, you will play a vital role in ensuring our products are always available to consumers by managing the forecasting and planning processes. You'll be the first point of contact for sales colleagues and will deliver best-in-class service to our valued customers while ensuring high forecast accuracy. Based in Stockholm, you'll be part of a dynamic supply chain team and report to the Northwest Europe Demand Planning lead.

Main Responsibilities
  • Sales Forecasting: Analyse sales forecasts to predict future demand accurately and effectively.
  • Data Analysis: Examine and challenge sales data to ensure accurate demand forecasts and identify trends.
  • S&OP Ownership: Be the owner of the demand signal and forecasts within the S&OP process, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • KPI Management: Work towards KPIs to maximise forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Continuous Improvement: Challenge the status quo, questioning historical data and working with sales and marketing to improve processes and forecasting.
  • SSL/Obsoletes management: interact with Nordics customers to drive obsoletes reduction and resolving SSL stock issues
  • NPD/PIPO: connect closely with other Supply Chain Teams (DRP/PTG) to ensure smooth execution of NPD (New Product Development)-PIPO (Phase-in / Phase-out) projects


So, what does it take to be successful in this role?
  • Experience: A few years of experience in demand planning, preferably within FMCG. Experience with short shelf-life products and systems like SAP and IBP is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: You thrive on data-based decision-making and driving accurate forecasts using data analysis.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: You excel at building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and are a self-driven, independent worker.
  • Languages: Fluent English is required; a Nordic language is a bonus.
