The Data Quality Manager serves as an innovative and collaborative business partner between multiple data owners, data stewards, and the Data Governance Manager. The role is responsible for defining and creating data controls, evaluating the quality of data across Arelion, and ensuring continuous monitoring and improvement. Together with data stewards, this individual will identify and correct data issues, and suggest improvements to systems and processes. This is both a business-facing and technology-facing role, requiring excellent communication and organizational skills to align stakeholders and drive data quality initiatives.
The main responsibilities and tasks are:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand, document, and improve data-related business processes.
• Lead and facilitate data governance forums to drive alignment, accountability, and transparency in data ownership and stewardship.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve data quality controls and monitoring mechanisms.
• Identify and analyze data quality issues, working with data stewards and system owners to resolve root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
• Support the development and rollout of data quality standards, policies, and best practices across the organization.
• Translate business needs into data quality requirements and ensure alignment with enterprise data strategy.
• Provide guidance and support for data profiling, cleansing, and validation activities.
• Collaborate with IT and analytics teams to ensure data quality is embedded in system design and data pipelines.
• Communicate data quality insights and metrics to stakeholders through clear reporting and dashboards.
• Act as a champion for data quality, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

• Proven experience in data quality, data governance, or business analysis roles.
• Strong understanding of data management principles and data lifecycle.
• Experience with reporting / BI-tools and creation of data controls
• Excellent communication skills in both business and technical contexts.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
• Fluent in English. Swedish is a plus.
