Assignment Overview

We are looking for a Data Engineer with a focus on Data Catalog

What You Will Work On

Onboard metadata from source systems into a central data catalog

Connect databases, reporting tools, pipelines, and APIs to the catalog

Ensure tables, columns, reports, and APIs are correctly documented

Build and enhance data lineage from source to consumption

Support implementation and exposure of data quality rules

Automate metadata flows and integrate solutions into CI/CD pipelines

Develop scripts and tools to support metadata and governance automation

Collaborate with data stewards to link technical objects to business concepts

What You Bring

A few years of experience as a Data Engineer, BI Developer, or similar

Strong SQL skills and preferably experience with Python or another scripting language

Experience with ETL/ELT, data pipelines, and DevOps practices (Git, CI/CD)

Strong interest in metadata, structure, and data traceability

Fluent in Swedish and English
