This Position reports to:
Dept. manager, PNTI - Factory IT & Digitalization
Join us in shaping the next generation of data driven robotics manufacturing. As a Data Analyst within Factory IT, you will play a central role in transforming data into insights that strengthen decision making, improve user experience and support daily management across our production environment. You will work closely with Production, Production Engineering, IT and OT teams, as well as our MES and SAP specialists. Whether you bring senior experience or are an ambitious junior talent, you will have the opportunity to influence our data analytics strategy and drive its implementation.
In this role, you will contribute to building a modern, digitalized factory environment with short decision paths, engaged colleagues and a clear mission to improve productivity and quality. Your location will be Västerås, where our team are located next to our production. We are building our brand-new Robotics campus with a totally new building and production, both physically and systematically.
Your responsibilities
- Improve and develop MES user interfaces with a focus on data usability, information structure and operator workflows
- Build dashboards and reports for daily management including KPIs, OEE and deviation handling
- Establish and maintain data governance including definitions, ownership and measurement points
- Simplify data access and integration from MES, SAP and OT systems to enable a single source of truth
- Develop analytical models and insights for downtime, cycle time and quality performance
You will have the opportunity to influence how data is used throughout our factory, from operators to leadership. You will work in a modern robotics manufacturing environment with a strong digitalization agenda and ongoing campus development. We offer an open atmosphere, engaged colleagues and a role with direct impact on our performance. Practical information the position is based on site in Västerås. Swedish and English proficiency, spoken and written, is required. Start date as agreed.
Your background
- 3 years' experience as Data analyst, a merit whether it is within production or even assembling companies.
- A university degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer or Data Science, Automation or a similar field is preferred.
- Strong analytical ability and experience collaborating with operations in a factory environment. Understanding of production flows and daily management, and how to translate data into actionable decisions
- Experience with visualization tools such as Power BI or similar and SQL knowledge
- Basic ETL or ELT skills and experience working with multiple data sources
- Experience with MES, SAP PP or EWM, production data collection, OEE, Lean or Six Sigma, as well as IT and OT environments or Azure data tools, is considered an advantage. Ability to assess and improve UI and UX in data intensive applications.
