Job Summary:
You will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of customs activities, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, customer agreements, and DHL's internal standards. As part of Nordic Operations Excellence, reporting to the SHEQ Lead Nordics, you will lead our customs management efforts, ensuring smooth and compliant operations. This includes educating and developing colleagues and customers on customs procedures. This role demands a proactive leader with a strong understanding of customs regulations and the ability to drive operational excellence. Based in Stockholm or Gothenburg, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and compliant customs operations.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and ensure compliance with customs regulations, customer agreements, and DHL policies.
- Lead Customs Management, ensuring adherence to Customs Authority processes.
- Develop and implement Nordic customs routines and processes.
- Define and manage KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee Profit and Loss for customs activities.
- Provide internal customs training and development.
- Advise the business on customs matters.
- Support customer project development and upselling.
- Participate in customs audits and contribute to system development.
- Foster collaboration with central functions.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Extensive experience in customs management.
- Relevant college or university degree.
- Budget management and financial responsibility experience.
- Project management experience, ideally in logistics.
- Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High service orientation and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Swedish.
