Position Summary

As a Customer Success Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring exceptionally good service delivery to Martela’s clients. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a passion for customer service and an interest in interior design and the office furniture industry. You will collaborate closely with the Key Account Manager and other internal teams to support sales, manage orders, and maintain strong client relationships. As a member of our customer service team, you will collaborate closely with our Swedish sales team and internal experts - both in day-to-day operations and in customer projects. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Key Account Manager and other experts at Martela

  • Make offers, both on your own and together with the Key Account Manager

  • Placing orders

  • Handling complaints

  • Request quotes and make purchases of furnishings related to placed orders

  • Take calls and respond to emails from partners, clients, and architects

  • Support the sales team in various matters

  • Act as a link between customer service, sales and operations

  • Participate in internal projects

  • Serve as backup when needed and cover for each other within the customer service team

Qualifications & Experience

  • High school diploma, preferably with a background in economics

  • Additional education relevant to customer service is considered a strong advantage

  • Ideally, in-depth knowledge of the office furniture sector – including product trends, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape (related industry experience with transferable skills is also welcome)

  • Solid experience with Microsoft Office and general office software/equipment; strong overall IT skills

  • Comfortable using Excel and working with numbers – familiar with discounts, margins, and markups

  • Basic commercial understanding, particularly related to sales and pricing

  • Fluency in Swedish and English is required; additional language skills are a plus
