As Creative Patternmaker at our Stockholm Office you will be responsible for delivering high quality patterns to our in-house atelier or suppliers for the designated product group. In this role, you will take full ownership of pattern quality - from sketch handover to production launch.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As Creative Patternmaker your main contribution will be to create high quality patterns for dedicated product categories. You will report to Senior Head Patternmaker in Stockholm and your role may require occasional travels. You will play a vital role by:

• Participate in fit sessions and provide proactive input to ensure further development and production processes run smoothly
• Responsible for pattern quality from sketch handover to production launch
• Interact closely with inhouse atelier regarding construction and finishings
• Work closely with cross functional partners of the designated product group during the development process, show preparations and production phase
• Serve as a technical resource to product development and design teams
• Contribute during the development process and production phase to ensure consistency in sizing and grading in close cross functional collaboration

Specific experience and knowledge for this role:

• Academic degree within design and/or patternmaking
• Minimum 6 years' experience as a pattern maker preferably in an international high-end fashion brand
• Strong communication skills in written and spoken English with a good command of English technical terms
• Technical expertise in patternmaking and garment construction
• Good understanding of the creative process and creative in experimental pattern solutions
• Proficient in a CAD pattern software (Gerber, Lectra, etc.) and CLO
• Fluent in English
