Job description:

  • Site development : You will take on both strategic and operational responsibility for establishing our new location in Gothenburg
  • Team building & leadership : You will recruit a high-performing local team, lead and develop employees, and create a team culture that fosters performance and collaboration
  • Full personnel responsibility : You will be responsible for hiring, onboarding, and developing new team members in Sweden
  • Market entry : You will define and execute our sales strategy for the Swedish market and assume full operational responsibility for our business in the country
  • Customer relationships : As the primary contact for our clients, you will identify potential new customers and build long-term relationships - particularly in the automotive industry
  • Sales & business development : You will analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities, and develop targeted strategies for customer acquisition
  • Liaison with headquarters : You will work closely with our central departments, contribute ideas for product development, and ensure the implementation of our corporate strategy at the local level
  • P&L responsibility : You will be accountable for achieving revenue and growth targets in Sweden



As Country Director (m/f/d) at the Bertrandt Group , you will be responsible for establishing and managing our new location in Gothenburg, Sweden - including the strategic development and operational leadership of the site. Required profile:

  • A completed degree, preferably with a technical focus
  • Several years of experience in sales and business development , ideally in an international environment and preferably in the automotive industry
  • Ideally, experience in consulting
  • Initial or proven leadership experience , e.g., in building and managing teams or regional units
  • Experience in market development , preferably in Scandinavia or specifically in Sweden
  • Excellent command of Swedish and fluent English (spoken and written); German skills are a plus
  • A strong hands-on mentality , entrepreneurial mindset, and a high level of personal responsibility
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong persuasive ability towards customers, partners, and employees
  • Willingness to travel across Europe, especially to our corporate headquarters
