Content Manager, Sweden – Time Out Nordics

Time Out is expanding into Sweden, and we’re looking for an experienced Content Manager based in Stockholm to oversee Sweden-focused content for the launch of Time Out Sweden. The role requires experience in journalistic writing, excellent coordination skills, and a strong commercial understanding.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Content based in Finland and the wider Nordics team. You’ll receive clear editorial direction, onboarding and ongoing support. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that the content is up to date and that it works and feels genuinely Swedish.

You’ll make sure that engaging, timely and high-quality content is published across Time Out’s Swedish channels. You’ll edit and publish articles, write some content yourself and work with freelance writers. You’ll also be responsible for social media content and publishing, and for ensuring that content is easy to find and performs well across digital channels.

As part of the role, you’ll also deliver commercial content. You’ll produce and edit campaigns and work directly with clients. You’ll also be responsible for producing and editing English-language content as part of the wider Nordics offering.

We’re looking for someone with strong (5+ years) editorial experience in digital media, excellent writing skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time. You’re used to working with a freelance network and understand how editorial and sales teams collaborate smoothly.

We require excellent Swedish language skills and a good command of English. Digital content production, social media and search engines are familiar territory for you, and using AI tools as part of content creation is part of your everyday work.

Experience in travel, city or lifestyle media, as well as a strong knowledge of Stockholm and Swedish urban culture, are clear advantages.

You’ll be part of building a new media platform under a globally recognised brand. In this role, you’ll have a real influence on how Time Out’s Swedish sites and channels look and feel.
