We are a fast-growing deep-tech company based in Linköping, Sweden, with the ambition to become a leading supplier of intelligent vision systems for autonomous platforms. Our team of 10 brings together expertise in optics, AI, embedded systems, and system integration, and now we are looking for someone to join us in expanding our computer vision capabilities.

The Role
As a Computer Vision Engineer at Synclair Vision, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the vision systems that power our platform. You will work closely with our team to bring cutting-edge vision solutions into robust, deployable products.
Working as a computer vision engineer at Synclair Vision means that your days and tasks may vary. Typical responsibilities include working with tracking algorithms, computer-vision-based machine learning, and implementing and optimizing vision algorithms for edge devices. Some days you may focus deeply on developing computer vision algorithms, while on others your work may shift toward supporting prototyping, testing, or team tasks that benefit the wider project.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on involvement across software development, prototyping, and field testing.
Key responsibilities
Drive development of computer vision systems for our platform
Work closely with our AI and optics team to bring research into real products
Shape our software/hardware integration strategy for edge devices
Experiment, prototype, and help define our product roadmap as we scale
Your profile
We are looking for someone who is curious, collaborative, pragmatic, and enjoys working hands-on with software development. You are comfortable in an environment where not everything is fully defined and where initiative is valued.
We believe you have:
Education in computer science, electronics, computer vision, or related engineering roles
Experience in computer vision
Experience working with C++
Experience in Linux environments
Solid understanding of computer vision concepts
Experience using Git and standard development workflows
Strong English communication skills
Nice to have:
Hands-on experience with edge devices such as NVIDIA Jetson, ARM-based systems, or Raspberry Pi
Basic knowledge of deep learning frameworks (e.g. PyTorch or TensorFlow)
Experience with NVIDIA CUDA Toolkit
Experience with real-time systems
Experience with sensor fusion
Background in robotics, drones, or autonomous systems
Experience working in defense-related or regulated industries
