Our clients are some of the world's biggest shippers, including Fortune 500 companies. We are also operating Sweden's largest truck dedicated public charging network and counting.

Your mission when joining as a Principal System Owner at Einride will be to define the processing platform and performance envelope; so Autonomous Driving software runs predictably and reliably in all conditions.

You will own:

• Compute architecture: Design the computer systems for different vehicles.
• Performance sizing: Figure out how much computer power, memory, and storage is needed.
• Input/output mapping: Plan how sensors connect to the computer system and ensure data flows correctly.
• Processing-time expectations: Define how fast things need to happen from sensor to software.
• Power, thermal, and EMC: Set limits and design for cooling, power, and reliable hardware in various environments.
• Bring-up and fault injection: Lead initial setup, test for problems, and work with vendors to fix issues.
• Vendor engagement: Manage relationships with computer part suppliers.
• Partner with the Sensors & Network System Owners: Balance coverage, bandwidth, timing, and compute headroom.

We expect you to have:

• 10+ years designing or deploying compute platforms for autonomy/robotics/ADAS - including embedded and edge compute.
• Strong grasp of data rates, input/output planning, memory/storage sizing, and practical thermal design.
• Ability to write clear requirements and work tightly with Autonomous Driving software teams on performance assumptions.

Nice to have:

• Experience with safety monitors/watchdogs, containerization on embedded systems, and over-the-air update constraints.

This is a full-time position based in Gothenburg or Stockholm.
