Commissioning Manager - Data Centres

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to join a collaborative, high-performing project team delivering complex data centre projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend key project meetings to monitor progress, collaborate on problem solving, and clearly communicate impacts to stakeholders
• Conduct site inspections to review QA/QC compliance and commissioning activities
• Develop, implement, and manage the project commissioning strategy and procedures
• Drive the commissioning process, including scope definition, scheduling, and execution
• Review and apply best practices to deliver quality, cost-effective commissioning solutions
• Communicate commissioning progress related to scope, schedule, and budget to senior stakeholders
• Oversee vendor performance to ensure high-quality delivery
• Facilitate coordination meetings with vendor and contractor project managers
• Identify and manage interfaces, dependencies, timelines, and budgets across multiple stakeholders
• Proactively identify issues and work collaboratively to resolve them
• Oversee and manage client-appointed commissioning teams
• Work independently in support of a wider data centre commissioning program

About You

• Strong technical understanding of UPS systems, switchgear, generators, and critical mechanical systems
• Proven experience developing detailed commissioning scripts
• Demonstrated experience project managing data centre projects
• Degree or equivalent experience in project management, engineering, construction, or a related discipline
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong relationships with teams and clients
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
