About the role

As aCommercial Advisor and Operational Specialist, you will be an integral part of a collaborative commercial & operational team within the High & Heavy Projects sector, working across all routes within the North Sea region. Cargo will be varied, we offer utilising DFDS equipment mafi & cassette incorporating terminal handling, self-drives and machinery.

This role offers broad exposure to our North Sea RoRo business, where you will be offering end to end solutions to our clients, preparing the first enquiry to planning the booking of cargo with the control of value-added services.

You will collaborate closely with colleagues across departments and locations, as well as 3rd party suppliers arranging cargo handling and haulage requirements, helping to ensure smooth day-to-day coordination, correct reporting, and clear communication. Whether it is managing customer data, preparing quotations, or supporting wider initiatives, your work will contribute directly to how we grow, improve, and deliver for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with all North Sea Customer Service teams, terminals, equipment centre, and 3rd party hauliers to deliver a seamless and efficient customer experience from start to completion.
• Prepare and track quotations in line with DFDS pricing policies.
• Manage bookings throughout the full process including all stakeholders in communication and decision making.
• Maintain the price review and annual contract renewals for HH Project customers, ensuring Phoenix, CRM and customers are updated.
• Maintain correct data in CRM system for all customer details, whilst also updating open opportunities to allow correct information to create reports.
• Support the sales cycle through the DFDS Way of Selling process, acting as the first point of contact for HH Project customer enquiries.
• Ensure transparency and consistency in pricing, customer records, and internal documentation.
• Proactive sales to existing and new clients.

This position is based in Gothenburg, joining an existing department, whilst also collaborating closely with a wider team based in Immingham, Vlaardingen, Oslo & Ghent.
