About the Assignment

You will join a team working with the physical integration of combat system components on a ship platform in a complex naval defense environment. The focus is on installation data and on making sure information from many system parts forms a reliable and consistent whole. You will start alongside experienced engineers and gradually take greater ownership of protecting the project's installation data interests, reviewing supplier information and helping ensure the design is correct before it is released in AVEVA/Engineering/TAGS. You will work closely with technical experts, project members and suppliers, with good opportunities to discuss solutions and share ideas across projects. This assignment is especially interesting if you enjoy detail-driven engineering in an advanced technical domain where your work has clear impact on the final system.

Job DescriptionYou will support the physical integration of system parts within a combat system scope on a designated ship platform.

You will review installation data gathered from suppliers and verify that it is accurate, complete and ready to be released into AVEVA/Engineering/TAGS.

You will identify discrepancies in technical information and drive clarification with the project's Technical Authority or directly with suppliers.

You will help protect the project's installation data interests and contribute to a structured, reliable flow of engineering information.

You will work closely with core project members and collaborate with experienced engineers in other projects to discuss challenges and refine solutions.

You will interpret and assess complex electrical wiring diagrams as part of the integration work.

Requirements3-7 years relevant experience

Formal degree in Engineering or equivalent acquired from work experience

Experience with cable dimensioning, including matching cables and conductors from a cable catalogue with supplier and customer requirements

Experience working in integrated project teams

Comfortable reading, reviewing and understanding complex electrical wiring diagrams

Fluent in Swedish and English

Ability to pass security clearance (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship not permitted)

Nice to haveExperience from CMS/FCS products

Experience in the naval domain or defense industry

Experience in ship design, especially power, HVAC and outfitting

Experience working with AVEVA/Engineering/TAGS

Experience working on a higher-level system hierarchy
