Role and responsibilities
The Product Security Officer (PSO) is responsible for the overall cyber security and information security program within R&D for Product & Services, both Product Management & Development and Digital Services.

This role will ensure that our products meet rigorous security standards, uphold customer trust, and future-proof our business amid increasing regulatory and security demands.

The role also includes:
  • Develop and drive the overall cybersecurity strategy for product and software development across PMD and DS including incident management.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance with relevant regulations and other industry frameworks.
  • Establish and enforce secure software development lifecycle practices to embed security from concept to deployment.
  • Assurance, Training & Awareness and Follow up


Qualifications
To be successful in this role we believe that you have:
  • Master's or equivalent degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
  • Relevant experience in cybersecurity or information security, in a leadership role overseeing product or software security in a complex, global organization.
  • Expertise in implementing and managing security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, RED, CRA, NIST, GDPR etc).
  • Proficiency in cloud security architecture, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with operational technology (OT), Edge, IoT and cloud environments
  • Certifications such as CSSLP, CISSP, CISM or equivalent are highly desirable.


The role also requires a proven ability to lead diverse teams and foster cross-functional collaboration across departments. Strong communication skills are essential to translate complex technical security concepts into actionable insights for stakeholders. A strategic mindset is also key, enabling you to balance immediate security needs with long-term goals effectively.

Additional information
This is a full-time permanent position based at DeLaval's headquarters in Tumba, south of Stockholm. We offer a hybrid workplace model, allowing flexibility to work remotely.
