Chief Accountant

We are looking for a Chief Accountant for a global company in Gothenburg with hybrid (50% remote) work possibility.

Start is ASAP, 1 year's contract to begin with, possibility of extension after that.

In this role you will be responsible for financial reporting and accounting with tasks such as bookkeeping, reconciliations, month/year end activities, audit and the planning of those together with the team. The candidate will work closely with local team members and business.

In this role it is critical that the candidate needs to have the ability to prioritize, drive and execute process improvements and tasks together with the team and stakeholders.

Your responsibilities and day to day tasks:

Manage and execute accounting activities with high quality

Communicating effectively and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders

Supervise financial reporting areas on an everyday basis

Be responsible for preparing financial reports

Be an action taker with the ability to prioritize

Requirements:

University graduate with wide experience working in the Accounting/Finance area

Experience in ERP-systems and used to be finance process-oriented

Experience in IFRS

Computer literacy is essential and experience in MS office applications (excellent command of MS Excel is a must)

Up to date standard knowledge of corporate and local accounting rules

Fluency in both in Swedish and English is required.

This is a full-time consultant position through Incluso in Gothenburg with hybrid (50% remote) work possibility. Start is ASAP, 1 year's limited contract to begin with, possibility of extension after that.
